The New York Times’ Michael Barbaro reported today on the City Council’s support for legislation introduced by Assemblymember Brian Kavanagh and State Senator Andrew Lanza that would help reduce traffic congestion in New York by preventing drivers from “blocking the box” at busy intersections.
